Recognizing that Cinco de Mayo is one of the holidays most associated with drunk driving-related incidents, with nearly one-third of crashes involving a drunk driver, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is leading a multi-agency task force to help reduce DWI-related deaths and make our streets safer for everyone.
This May 5th, Law Enforcement officials from agencies across Montgomery County will be out in force looking for impaired drivers, with continued partnership with the Montgomery County District Attorney’s office and local Judges for NO REFUSAL DWI enforcement.
If you plan to enjoy adult beverages during this holiday weekend, please celebrate responsibly by using a ride share program, designating a sober driver, or doing so from the safety of your home.
