CLEVELAND CLEARING OUT THE DOPE DEALERS

TashaMichelleStetsonTasha Michelle Stetson was arrested for “POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE PENALTY GROUP 1 < 1 GRAM” on 09-13-2012

 

On 9-13-2012 Officer Kevin Cooke was patrolling the area of E. Houston at College when he observed a vehicle traveling eastbound with expired registration.

Officer Cooke conducted a traffic stop for the violation and met with the driver who was identified as Tasha Michelle Stetson, age 23.

Officer Cooke found that Stetson had two outstanding warrants for her arrest at which she was placed into custody for the warrants.

A further inventory of Stetson’s vehicle led Officer Cooke to discover a small baggy containing what is believed to be methamphetamine.

Stetson was charge with two traffic warrants and Possession of a Controlled Substance (penalty group 1, less than a gram).

D’Angelo Rushing / Johnny Harris-Hines was arrested for POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE PG1 1 < 4 G on 09-08-2012

On 09-08-2012 Officer Paul Young #132 patrolling the Beach Avenue area when he observed a driver of a passenger car not wearing a safety restraint.

JohnnyTyroneHinesJr.Officer Young initiated a traffic stop and met with the occupants of the vehicle who were identified as Johnny Harris-Hines Jr. (age 26) and D’Angelo Rushing (age 23).

Upon meeting with the occupants, Officer Young observed actions that led Officer Young to ask consent to search the vehicle for illegal substances.

Upon searching the Officer Young discovered a clear plastic baggy containing what is believed to be “crack cocaine” and a plastic baggy containing what is believed to be “cocaine” in the vehicle.

Both Subjects were arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, more than 1 gram but less than 4 grams.

Both subjects have previous convictions for possessing illegal drugs.

Ryan Reeves was arrested for “POSSESSION OF CONT. SUB PG 1 > = 1G < 4G” on 9-05-2012

On Saturday, September 15, 2012 Sgt. Kevin Potter observed a passenger car with a defective tail light lens near Bonham and Crockett; Sgt. Potter initiated a traffic stop for the defective equipment.

The driver was identified as Ryan Reeves (age 19).

After speaking with Reeves for a short period, Sgt. Potter was able to determine Reeves had in his possession methamphetamine. Sgt. Potter recovered methamphetamine from the vehicle Reeves was driving. Reeves was charges with Possession of a Controlled Substance, more than one gram, but less that 4 grams of methamphetamine.

Justin Pope was arrested for “MANF/DELIV CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE W/INTENT TO DELIVER PG1 4G < 200G” on 09-15-2012

On Saturday, Officer Paul Young stopped a passenger car in the area of 1300 Nevell Street for defective equipment. Officer Young met with the driver who was identified as Justin Pope (age 19).

While speaking with Pope, Officer Young observed a Xanax pill in plain view. Officer Young determined that Pope was in illegal possession of the prescription pill (xanax) and was placed in custody. A further check of the vehicle found that Pope was in possession of methamphetamine. Further investigation lead to charges brought agains Pope for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver more than 4 grams, but less than 200 grams of methamphetamine.
