Once again the Cleveland Regional Hospital closed Thursday evening. This after an employee said the state closed them due to repairs not yet made that have been existing for months. The employee said ceiling tiles are being replaced from a leaking roof but the leaks have not been repaired. Issues continue with the air conditioning system and the fire system.
Thursday night as housekeeping employees arrived for work they were told not to clock in. A small team of nurses remained on location through the night but without a doctor being present,
Signs on the doors give a phone number for medical records. Another directs person to Kingwood Hospital in Houston at Kingwood and US 59.
