On Monday, June 25, 2011 Officers with the Cleveland Police Department arrested a local suspect: Davaris Dequain Marsh, 24 years of age for a “Robbery” that occurred on May 14, 2011 in the 1000 block of East First Street here in Cleveland.
A local homeowner reported that Marsh and his girlfriend entered his residence, and “Marsh demanded money”. The homeowner, “refused to give Marsh money; that’s when Marsh struck him repeatedly in the face with his fist”. The homeowner suffered a fractured jaw. The homeowner said, “Marsh’s girlfriend unplugged, and removed his 31 inch flat screen television, and loaded it into a vehicle that was parked outside. Marsh and his girlfriend then fled the residence after assaulting the homeowner, and stealing his television.
After a further investigation and the issuance of a warrant the girlfriend was identified as Jamila Monique Rawlins, of Humble, Tx., and she was later arrested on May 25, 2011. Both Marsh and Rawlins have been charged with “Robbery” second degree felony.
