Cleveland Police Investigate Home Invasion

LIBERTY COUNTY, TX- Cleveland Police are investigating a March 9 home invasion in the 30000 block of Walton Heath Drive, in the Grand Oaks Reserve subdivision. The incident occurred around 4:15 a.m., when a 15-year-old girl was suddenly awakened by an unknown man, who was wearing a mask and gloves and forcefully placed his hand over her mouth to stop her screams. Just as quickly, he released his hand and fled from the home.

The family called 911 and Cleveland Police responded quickly, but were unable to find the suspect in the area.

After the family posted info about the incident on social media, neighbors began checking their security system camera footage and multiple neighbors reported seeing a suspicious male fitting the description on the cameras around the time of the reported incident.
