Cleveland Fire and Police are just completed a river rescue on US 59 just south of Cleveland. Just after 9 pm a vehicle below the bridge was swept down the river with two occupants. Cleveland Fire was dispatched along with Cleveland Police. The first two officers jumped into the water in an attempt to rescue the two but were unable to get to them. A boat now has the two males and have returned to the bridge. The two men had been fishing when the water came up as they were about to leave.
