CLOSE TO 100 HOMES DAMAGED IN STORM

Constable Mark Herman’s Office has established a central command post near Theiss Elementary School following significant tornado damage in the area. Early reports indicate that over 100 homes have been damaged, and first responders are actively searching for any injured or trapped residents. To enhance rescue efforts, Constable Deputies have deployed drones to conduct aerial assessments, locate injured citizens, and identify hazardous areas that may be unsafe to enter on foot. There is currently a strong odor of natural gas throughout portions of the impacted neighborhoods. Residents are urged to avoid the area and report any suspected gas leaks immediately. Constable Mark Herman’s Office is working closely with Fire and EMS partners, who are on scene conducting medical evaluations, checking damaged structures, and addressing emergency hazards. “Our priority is the safety of our residents,” Constable Herman said. “We are using every resource available to locate the injured, secure the area, and support our community through this emergency.”
