COMPUTER OUTAGE CONTINUES AS COMPANIES SLOWLY COME BACK ONLINE

CrowdStrike has 29,000 worldwide customers on Windows-based machines. According to the company the problem was caused by “the Falcon Sensor” , one of it’s products to block online attacks.

Due to a third-party, global, industry-wide issue, certain online functionality may be intermittently slow or unavailable. We’re actively monitoring the issue.

KLM and other airlines and airports have been affected by a global computer outage, making flight handling impossible. We realize that this is very inconvenient for our customers and staff, particularly in the midst of the summer holiday season. We’re working hard to resolve the problem. Until then, we will have to largely suspend operations.
