Deputy Chief James Kelemen is retiring after 20 years and 6 months of dedicated service to the Conroe Police Department. Deputy Chief Kelemen was hired on October 29, 2003. He began his career as a patrolman and rose through the ranks, achieving the role of Deputy Chief in September 2024. Although he is retiring from Conroe PD, his journey in law enforcement continues as he steps into his new role as Chief of Police for the Cleveland ISD Police Department.
