A City of Conroe utility worker who was working on the renovation of the City of Conroe Wastewater Treatment Plant on Sgt Ed Holcomb fell into a tank about 1230pm.. Conroe Fire Department and MCHD responded to the scene. The sewage tank, which was empty was approximately 20 feet off the ground. The worker fell approximately 6 feet down inside it onto his back. Conroe firefighters, using the platform truck were able to raise the worker out using cables. He has been transported to the hospital in stable condition.
