Just before 6:30pm Conroe Firefighters responded to a reported shed fire in the 10900 block of Forest Creek off FM 830. This is a subdivision with no fire hydrants. They arrived on the scene to find not just the building but a natural gas line also on fire. Knowing there was going to be a need for additional water, Montgomery, Lake Conroe and North Montgomery County Fire units were called upon for tankers. The gas company arrived and at 11:15pm the fire was declared under control.
