On June 25, 2013, at approximately 8:20 pm, Conroe Police Officers were dispatched to a disturbance with weapons at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park locate at 1001 MLK Place South. Upon arrival, officers discovered 19 year old Geovany Ponce-Reyes in his vehicle, dead of an apparent gunshot wound. Witnesses described Reyes being involved in a physical struggle while seated in his vehicle and the suspect outside the vehicle. The suspect then pulled a gun and shot Reyes. The only suspect information witnesses were able to describe consists of two black males, who left running through the park.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department assisted in setting up a perimeter along FM 1314 as MCSO K-9’S worked the area. A DPS helicopter also responded to the scene with an Infrared detection system (FLIR) but after almost two hours was unable to locate the two suspects.
Wednesday evening Conroe Police arrested Julian Jhavier Williams, 22 of 2121 Royal College Hill in Conroe. Williams who had been on probation for tampering with evidence and evading arrest in 2014 is now in the Montgomery County Jail charged with Capital Murder and Motion to Adjudicate Guilt on the 2014 charges.
MLK would not approve.
Someone (Jerome Faggin) was already charged and convicted for this crime, so is he going to be set free now since the real murders were found? The justuce system is all messed up!!

This is really tragic for everyone. We knew Julian as a teen and he was actually a good kid.
