Just after 10 p.m. Thursday night two males walked into the Popeye’s Chicken on FM 3083 at IH45 wearing Halloween masks. A little early for Trick or Treat they robbed the business and fled in a silver car.
An attempt to locate was put out to both Montgomery County units and Conroe Police units. Within minutes a Conroe patrol unit spotted the vehicle at Gladstell and Silverdale. Following for a short distance north on Long Street. When they got in the 1000 block of Long Street the vehicle as pulled over and the suspects were detained. In the vehicle they found a back pack and bank bag both used in the robbery.
Both were arrested and taken to Conroe PD for questioning.
