CONROE PIZZA HUT AND PORTER GAME STOP ROBBER THOUGHT TO BE THE SAME-PHOTO

PRESS RELEASE FROM CONROE POLICE

On Tuesday, 06/28/11, at approximately 9:20 pm, Conroe Police officers were dispatched to the Pizza Hut at 1241 N. loop 336 W. in reference to a holdup alarm, followed by a 911 call. Officers discovered that the store had been robbed by a Hispanic male who brandished a handgun.

This case was assigned to the Criminal Investigation Division for follow-up. Detectives learned that a Game Stop store in Porter, Texas, had been robbed on 06/26/11. After talking with detectives from Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, it was determined that there were enough similarities in the M.O., description of suspect, mannerism of suspect, and getaway vehicle, to believe that the same person(s) were responsible for both robberies.

Attached is a still photo taken from the video surveillance at the Game Stop in Porter.

The suspect in both robberies is described as an H/M in his early 20’s with tattoos covering both arms and his neck. He also has a scar or some sort of cut on one or both eyebrows. The suspect left each location in a small blue passenger car; in Conroe it was described as a Honda Civic, in Porter it was described as a Scion.

Anyone with any information on either robbery can contact Detective Steven Davis at

936-522-3265, or contact the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Detectives at 936-760-5876.
