CONROE POLICE CAPTURE HARRIS COUNTY WANTED MURDER SUSPECT

On Saturday, December 21, 2024, Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported shooting at the Haverstock Apartments in the 5600 block of Aldine Bender. There, they found Larry Duncan, deceased, in the apartment courtyard. He had been shot multiple times, and there were over a dozen shell casings on the ground. An apartment was also hit. A young boy who had been riding a bicycle witnessed the incident and identified the shooter as a person referred to as “K-DOT”. The shooter was identified as Kenerien Evans, who lived in the complex. Further investigation found cameras on the property that showed the entire incident. A warrant was issued on December 31, 2024, for Kenerien Evans. This was not the first brush with the law. In June of 2023, he was arrested for criminal trespass and evading arrest. Those charges were dismissed. Then in October of 2023, he was charged with robbery in which a person was knocked to the floor and injured. That charge was dismissed after he completed a pre-trial diversion program. Tuesday afternoon, Conroe Police arrested Evans at I-45 and SH 105.

EVANS, KENDRIEN
