Just after 4am Tuesday morning Conroe Police were dispatched to 1200 S. Frazier to a report of a car alarm going off followed by shots fired. As units arrived at the apartment complex they witnessed a grey 4-door Hyundai leaving the area at a high rate of speed. Police followed the vehicle West on Post Oak where the vehicle pulled into another apartment complex and attempted to flee on foot. They were quickly apprehended.
When police ran the registration on the vehicle it did not come back as stolen at which point they contacted the owner in Spring. It was then that the owner discovered his vehicle had been stolen.
In the vehicle police found a .357 magnum hand gun that had been fired. They also found a computer, GPS and printer that had been stolen from a vehicle in the complex on Frazier where the alarm was sounding.
The back window of the stolen vehicle had been shattered when police believe it backed into another car in the parking lot of the complex.
Arrested was Jordan Fagan, age 20, of Conroe and a 14-year-old juvenile also from Conroe.
Fagan was found to have a misdemeanor warrant out of Montgomery County at the time. Police also filed a new charge of Evading On Foot, a misdemeanor. Police were unable to charge either with Deadly Conduct for firing the gun, Auto theft as they were not able to determine which suspect was responsible.
