Constable’s Memorial Day Weekend DWI Crackdown Yields 41 Arrests

HARRIS COUNTY, TX- Deputies with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office arrested 41 suspected drunk drivers during a Memorial Day weekend initiative aimed at reducing impaired driving and preventing fatal crashes across Precinct 4.

Constable Herman launched the proactive enforcement operation to increase law enforcement visibility and target intoxicated drivers. Deputies stopped each suspect for traffic violations and noted signs of intoxication. After administering Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, deputies determined that all 41 drivers were impaired.

Several individuals face enhanced charges due to prior convictions. Deputies charged Paula Bruner, Armando Dehuma, Fernando Rodriguez, Daniel Tam, and Rayumond Mazon with Driving While Intoxicated – Third Offense. Charles Xayadeth, Cory Jackson, Adam Frank, and Nashon Ondiek face DWI – Second Offense charges.

Deputies also arrested Kayla Wilson and Joshua Rivas for Unlawful Carry of a Weapon, and charged Ryan Hon with Possession of a Controlled Substance in addition to DWI.

“All suspects were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail,” Constable Mark Herman said. “Drinking and driving is not tolerated in Precinct 4. If you choose to drive drunk, you choose to go to jail.”

The operation underscores Precinct 4’s ongoing commitment to keeping roads safe through active DWI enforcement.
