Cops Call Their Driving Extremely Reckless… and There’s More to the Story

HARRIS COUNTY, TX- On November 14, 2025, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman’s Office initiated a traffic stop on three vehicles traveling together in the 12800 block of Veterans Memorial Drive after allegedly seeing all three weaving in and out of traffic in an extremely reckless and unsafe manner.

When the deputy activated emergency lights, all three vehicles allegedly refused to stop and continued traveling for several miles, creating a dangerous situation for other motorists.

Eventually, two of the vehicles pulled over, and both drivers were safely detained. The drivers were identified as 20-year-old Isidro Soto and Kevin McBride. During the on-scene investigation, deputies also learned that 18-year-old Kevin McBride was in possession of a loaded firearm, further elevating the seriousness of the incident.

“They were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Kevin McBride was arrested and booked for Evading in a Motor Vehicle and Unlawful Carry of a Weapon. His bond was set at $5,000,” Constable Mark Herman said. “Isidro Soto was arrested and booked for Evading in a Motor Vehicle, and his bond was set at $10,000 out of the 339th District Court.”
