On January 4, 2019, around 1 a.m., deputies with Montgomery County Sheri’s Office were dispatched to the Shell McDonald’s located at 8001 Highway 242, Conroe, Texas in reference to a Robbery call. When deputies arrived, they learned five black males, wearing hoodies partially covering their faces, had forced entry into the store by breaking the glass out of the front door.
Once inside the store, the males stole the cash register drawer, lottery tickets and tobacco products. At least one of the males displayed a weapon. The males then left the store and fled in a small black passenger car.
Oakridge Police Department located the car traveling southbound on IH-45 and attempted to stop the vehicle. The vehicle fled but eventually crashed at the intersection of Sawmill and High Oaks. The driver of the vehicle ran on foot and could not be located. The remaining four passengers were identified and taken into custody for Robbery. The males were identified as Dreveoun Oneal (12/18/1998) and three juvenile males. Dreveoun is being held on a $30,000 bond. This remains an active investigation.
