COPS SAY ANGRY WOMAN DRAGGED OFF-DUTY DEPUTY WITH VEHICLE

HARRIS COUNTY, TX– On Thursday, Deputies with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a fast-food restaurant in the 14400 block of Hwy 249, after someone reported the assault of an off-duty Deputy Constable. Further investigation revealed the female suspect was involved in an altercation with another woman when the off-duty Deputy approached her vehicle.

She attempted to flee and dragged the Deputy through the parking lot with her vehicle. The Deputy was briefly unconscious, but then regained consciousness, and attempted to detain the woman. She resisted, with the struggle becoming physical, continuing until another Deputy arrived and helped the injured Deputy detain the woman.

The suspect was identified as 24-year-old Christina Pabon.

“Christina Amanda Pabon was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon – Causes Serious Bodily Injury. Her bond amount is not set at this time,” Constable Mark Herman said.
