HARRIS COUNTY, TX- On June 21, Deputies with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office spotted a vehicle creating a traffic hazard in the 700 block of North Sam Houston Parkway East. Deputies made contact with the driver, 63-year-old Arthur Stolp, who allegedly exhibited multiple signs of intoxication.
Stolp refused to perform Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. A background check revealed he had a previous DWI conviction. Further investigation determined his blood alcohol content was 0.214—nearly three times the legal limit of .08.
Deputies arrested Stolp and transported him to the Harris County Jail, where he was charged with Driving While Intoxicated. His bond was set at $2,500 in County Court 14.
“Arthur Stolp was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Driving While Intoxicated,” Constable Mark Herman said.
