HARRIS COUNTY, TX- On Sunday, Deputies responded to a robbery in progress at an apartment in the 700 block of Cypresswood Drive. The victim said three young black men broke in and robbed him at gunpoint.
He said a woman he only knows as a friend of one of his friends contacted him through social media saying she’d like to “hang out”. Unfortunately for the victim, shortly after the woman arrived, the other suspects appeared and held him at gunpoint as they robbed him. The suspects also assaulted the man physically, and then fled with a bag of the victim’s belongings and his television.
Pct. 4 Investigators say the woman set up the victim, and she waited for the suspects outside of the apartment. The victim couldn’t provide much additional information because his contact with the woman was through his mobile phone, which the men took.
A neighbor’s doorbell camera captured the woman’s image. Pct. 3 Investigators hope someone will see the image below and provide information leading the suspects’ arrest.
“If you have any information regarding this case, you are urged to contact our dispatch or your local law enforcement agency,” Constable Mark Herman said.
