Cops Say he had a Slow Vehicle for Fleeing a Scene

HARRIS COUNTY, TX— On June 14, Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office arrested a suspected shoplifter at the Home Depot located in the 20200 block of the North Freeway. Loss prevention employees alerted Deputies after allegedly seeing the suspect conceal more than $425 worth of merchandise and exit the store without paying.

Deputies quickly found the suspect, who was allegedly attempting to flee the scene on a bicycle. He was apprehended and identified as Mark Turner, a convicted felon with multiple prior theft convictions.

The stolen merchandise was recovered and returned to the store.

“Mark Turner was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Felony Theft. His bond was set at $12,500 out of the 263rd District Court,” Constable Mark Herman said.
