HARRIS COUNTY, TX- On Sunday, Deputies with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the HEB located in the 28000 block of the Northwest Freeway in reference to a theft shoplifter call. Upon deputies arriving, loss prevention advised that he recognized a theft suspect from other reported theft incidents from the Tomball/ Cypress HEB.

Loss prevention reported that the suspect would break the locks of several cages and would steal propane tanks. Constable Deputies found the suspect, 41-year-old Douglas Koudelka. After a thorough investigation, it was discovered the suspect allegedly stole $3100 worth of propane tanks.

“Douglas Koudelka was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Theft Aggregate. His bond was set at $20,000 out of the 177th District Court,” Constable Mark Herman said.
