HARRIS COUNTY, TX — A driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated after deputies found him asleep behind the wheel of a vehicle stopped in the roadway, according to Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office.
The incident occurred on December 11, in the 24200 block of Tomball Parkway, where deputies found a vehicle obstructing traffic with the driver unconscious inside. Deputies identified the driver as 53-year-old Marcus Ramirez, who allegedly displayed multiple signs of intoxication.
Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered, and deputies determined Ramirez was intoxicated. He was taken into custody and booked into the Harris County Jail on a charge of Driving While Intoxicated.
Ramirez’s bond was set at $100 out of County Court 13, Constable Mark Herman said.
All individuals arrested or charged are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
