Cops Say he was Walthieving

HARRIS COUNTY, TX- On June 20, Deputies with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office arrested a man for theft after responding to a call at the Walmart located at 26270 Highway 290 in Cypress. Store employees reported a suspect was skip-scanning merchandise at the self-checkout—intentionally failing to scan all items before attempting to leave the store.

Deputies detained the suspect, 24-year-old Tayvion Jerrell Roe. A follow-up investigation revealed Roe allegedly committed a similar theft at the same store a day earlier.

“Tayvion Roe was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Theft Aggregate. His bond was set at $100 out of County Court 3,” Constable Mark Herman said.
