HARRIS COUNTY, TX- On Wednesday, Deputies with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a disturbance call in the 21500 block of Karpathos lse Lane. Upon Deputies arriving, the suspect, 35-year-old Shantrell Williams fled on foot.
After a brief foot pursuit, Williams was apprehended. As Deputies attempted to detain her, she allegedly kicked, scratched and spat on two of the law enforcement officers. After a brief struggle, Williams was safely detained. Further investigation revealed that she was out on bond for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Mail Theft, and Burglary.
“Shantrell Williams was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with two counts of Assault on a Peace Officer and Evading Arrest. Her bond is set at $51,000 out of the 482nd District Court and County Court 13,” Constable Mark Herman said.
