HARRIS COUNTY, TX- A woman with multiple outstanding felony warrants was arrested after allegedly stealing over $500 worth of merchandise from a Bath & Body Works store on April 13, according to authorities.
Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a theft call at the Bath & Body Works located in the 19500 block of I-45. Upon arrival, deputies learned that a female suspect had concealed items valued at more than $547 and exited the store without paying. The suspect then fled the scene in a vehicle.
Deputies quickly located and apprehended the suspect, identified as Janicia Boutte. Further investigation revealed that Boutte had three open felony warrants for theft.
She was taken into custody and booked into the Harris County Jail, where she now faces an additional charge of Felony Theft. Her bond has been set at $2,000 by the 180th District Court.
“This arrest is another example of our commitment to holding repeat offenders accountable,” Constable Mark Herman said.
