HARRIS COUNTY, TX- On Sunday, Deputies with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 10700 block of the West Sam Houston Tollway North. The driver, 41-year-old Tameisha Okpara, allegedly displayed multiple signs of intoxication. She also had her two children ages 6 and 9 in the vehicle.
A series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered and it was determined that she was intoxicated. The children were released to a guardian who arrived on scene. Child Protective Services were contacted and told the facts of this case.
“Tameisha Okpara was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Driving While Intoxicated with Child Passenger. Her bond was set at $2,500 out of the 182nd District Court,” Constable Mark Herman said.
