Cops Say She was Over Twice the Legal Limit

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – Saturday evening, Deputies with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office arrested a woman after conducting a traffic stop in the 23300 block of State Highway 249 and discovering she was allegedly driving under the influence.

Deputies say, the driver, 32-year-old Jasmine Tanksley, exhibited multiple signs of intoxication at the scene. Deputies administered a series of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which allegedly confirmed their suspicions.

Further investigation revealed Tanksley’s blood alcohol concentration was 0.170 — more than twice the legal limit of 0.08 in Texas.

“Jasmine Tanksley was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated,” said Constable Mark Herman. “Her bond was set at $100 out of County Court 9.”

No injuries or accidents were reported in connection with the incident. The case remains under investigation.
