Cops Say Suspect Suggested a Quid Pro Quo

HARRIS COUNTY, TX- On Sunday, a Deputy with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 23500 block of Northgate Crossing Boulevard. The Deputy says the driver, 24-year-old Donia Aly, displayed multiple signs of intoxication.

Due to her alleged level of intoxication, Deputies determined Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were not safe to complete. While transporting her to the jail, she allegedly attempted to bribe the transporting Deputy by offering to perform sex acts in exchange for letting her go and getting her vehicle out of the impound.

“Aly Donia was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Bribery. Her total bond has not been set at this time out of the 228th District Court and County Court 11,” Constable Mark Herman said.

The DWI is a class B misdemeanor, and the bribery charge is a second-degree felony.
