HARRIS COUNTY, TX- Deputy Rooks with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the 2000 block of Hamlin Valley Drive in reference to two old goats on a crime spree. No, they didn’t kill anyone, but they were jaywalking, trespassing, tasting and stomping expensive landscaping, and refusing to cooperate with anyone’s requests for them to leave while on private property. They were said to be downright stubborn!
They didn’t count on Deputy Rooks showing up. He managed to corral the pair of party animals and stop them from doing any further damage. The Deputy then called Harris County Livestock Deputies, who have a paddy wagon better suited for their kind.
As of this posting, they continued to refuse to provide IDs and, obviously, they can’t be fingerprinted. They didn’t have any ink and it’s unknown whether they have any gang affiliation. Livestock Deputies will take it from here.
Good job Deputy Rooks! This writer happens to know from personal experience those old goats are much stronger than they look!
