HARRIS COUNTY, TX- On Thursday, Deputies with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a theft, in progress, at a parking lot in the 20500 block of I-45. Deputies’ swift response resulted in arriving while suspects Billy Johnson and Frederick Gray were still on location. Both men are convicted felons.
Deputies investigated further and found Johnson and Gray were already in possession of multiple catalytic converters allegedly cut off of vehicles whose unsuspecting owners were parked in that lot.
“Billy Johnson and Fredrick Gray were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Catalytic Converter Theft. Their bond and court information have not been set at this time out of the 179th District Court,” Constable Mark Herman said.
