Franklin Avenue, she said Robert Green, who she considered a friend, waved for her to stop. When she pulled over, she said he asked her for $20. When she reached inside her purse to get the $20, she said he spotted the rest of the $400 she’d withdrawn. The victim claims Green then forcefully reached inside in the vehicle and grabbed all of the money and ran, disappearing into the darkness.
The victim said she’s known Green for several years and felt comfortable stopping. The woman said it was very upsetting because she willingly agreed to give Green the $20 he requested.
