CPD Shuts Down Crack House


On Thursday, Conroe Police Narcotics Investigators, in conjunction with Montgomery Co. Precinct 2 Constables, served at search warrant in the 600 block of College, following a lengthy investigation into narcotics activity at the residence. The investigation revealed that the 60-year-old female resident, Gloria Nickerson, was distributing crack cocaine from the residence. Upon entry into the residence, investigators located crack cocaine, hidden in a pill bottle, that had been cut into individual pieces for eventual sale. Nickerson was found near the cocaine. A thorough search was conducted of the residence, which revealed additional cocaine and a large sum of currency.

The total weight of the cocaine was over 5 grams and the currency totaled over $17.000. Nickerson was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and transported to the Montgomery Co. Jail. Nickerson’s bond is set at $50,000.
