About 4pm Sunday a driver in a Toyota pickup was traveling east on SH 105 near Lee Turner in far east Montgomery County. He came up on a section of roadway where lanes change after the construction area. That is were he came out of his lane and hit a Ford pickup pulling a dump trailer headon. A Mazda following behind the Toyota was unable to avoid collision as the Ford pickup went sideways. The Mazda hit the front of the pickup causing severe damage to the drivers side of the Mazda.
The driver of the Toyota was transported to HCA Conroe in critical condition. The two occupants of the Mazda were transported to Kingwood in stable condition. THe driver, his wife and son in the Ford were uninjured. The road reopened at 6:30pm after DPS investigated the crash.
