Wednesday night a female motorist was westbound on SH 105 East near Security. With the sun in her eyes, she did not see the eastbound pickup and was hit head-on as she was turning left into a parking lot. With fluids on the ground and debris, the roadway was closed. However, the ditches were dry and motorists turned both east and westbound ditches into lanes of traffic. The road itself was closed for just over an hour waiting for wreckers to arrive at the scene and then clean up the debris. The female was transported in serious condition but not life-threatening.
