Darrell the Death Row Dog at MCAS

This uniquely marked gorgeous boy has been at the Montgomery County Animal Shelter as long as they can keep him, because he didn’t have the right humans. Sadly, the right human hasn’t found him yet and he’ll he be euthanized on Tuesday if he doesn’t have a home. He loves people and, of course, has no idea his young life is about to end.

Darrell is about 3 years old, 52 lbs., neutered, and tested negative for heartworms.

The Shelter volunteers wrote the following about Darrell:

If you’re looking for a dog who’s always happy to see you, Darrell is your guy! This smiley, happy-go-lucky pup is full of energy and absolutely loves people. He’s always seeking attention and will gladly be your shadow, workout buddy, or couch companion (as long as snacks are involved!). Darrell is treat-motivated and already knows how to sit! While he’s done well in an open yard with other dogs, Darrell much prefers to keep his kennel space to himself.
