DEADLY SHOOTING IN MAGNOLIA, MESSAGE TO NEARBY RESIDENTS

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX- On Thursday, at 11:31 a.m., Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 40000 block of Goldeneye Place in Magnolia, to a reported shooting. The caller said a neighbor he’d known to have mental health issues approached him in his front yard. The two men had an altercation, and the homeowner shot his neighbor. The neighbor was pronounced dead at the scene.

MCSO Homicide and Violent Crimes Detectives, Crime Scene Investigators, and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office are investigating the shooting. MCSO assures everyone the shooting was an isolated incident, between two men who knew one another, and there’s no threat to the public.

This remains an active investigation, and no further information is available at this time.

Residents in the 40000 block of Goldeneye Place in the Audubon subdivision will not be able to access their residence for a couple of hours, due to this ongoing investigation. Parents with children who ride the school bus who live in the 40000 block of Goldeneye Place in the Audubon subdivision, will need to meet the school bus at Bay Warbler Way in North Herron Heights.
