Deputies arrest Robbery suspect minutes after Crime !

On December 22, 2015 deputies with Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to an attempted robbery at the Stripes fuel station located in the 3300 block of Spring Stuebner at Falvel. Upon arriving a female reported that an unknown male had attempted to steal her vehicle by physically taking it from her. She told deputies that she fought off the male and he ran into a nearby subdivision. Constable Mark Herman said his deputies searched the subdivision and after a brief foot chase was able to take the male into custody. The suspect was identified as Brian K. Ray and was positively identified by the female victim at Stripes and another witness.

Further investigation by deputies revealed the Ray had broken into the home of a veteran United States Marine and had stolen his Purple Heart Medallion. The veteran was contacted and his Purple Heart returned. Ray was arrested, charged with Robbery and Burglary to a Residence, and booked into the Harris County Jail. Ray’s bond was set at $50,000.00 out of the 176th District Court.
