Deputies Say he was Drunk and Armed Behind the Wheel

HARRIS COUNTY, TX- June 16, Deputies with Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office arrested a man for driving while intoxicated and unlawfully carrying a weapon after responding to a traffic hazard in the 26800 block of the Tomball Tollway.

Deputies arrived to find a vehicle traveling with damaged rims and a flat tire. The driver, 20-year-old Emmanuel Vazquez, allegedly showed multiple signs of intoxication. After administering a series of Field Sobriety Tests, Deputies determined that Vazquez was, indeed, intoxicated. Further investigation led to the discovery of a loaded AR-15 rifle inside the vehicle, according to Deputies.

“Emmanuel Vazquez was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Unlawful Carry of a Weapon. His total bond was set at $200 out of County Court 07,” Constable Mark Herman said.
