HARRIS COUNTY, TX– On Friday, Pct. 4 deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the 22300 block of the Tomball Parkway to assist the Tomball Police Department in locating a suspect who fled a theft scene.
A Constable Deputy located the suspect vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. The driver refused to stop, leading deputies on a pursuit. Deputies deployed stop sticks to deflate the tires and the suspect vehicle then became inoperable. The driver was then taken into custody and identified as Allen Lewis.
During a search of the vehicle, deputies located the stolen property from the original theft scene.
“The Tomball Police Department arrived on scene and took custody Allen Lewis. They will be filing charges of Theft and Evading. Our agency will be filing another charge of Evading in a Motor Vehicle against him. His court and bond information have not been set at this time,” Constable Mark Herman said.
