HARRIS COUNTY, TX– On October 22, a deputy with Pct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a suspicious person call. Upon making contact with the suspect, 28-year-old Ariana Anderson, the deputy attempted to detain her. During the encounter, Anderson suddenly spun around, and allegedly grabbed the deputy by the collar, and scratched her chest, causing pain.

Constable Herman says despite the suspect’s aggression, the deputy maintained control of the situation, demonstrating excellent training and composure. Anderson was safely taken into custody without further incident.

“Ariana Anderson was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Resisting Arrest. Her bond was set at $100 out of County Court 16,” Constable Mark Herman said.
