An argument over a vehicle between roommates at approximately 4:am Wednesday morning resulted in the shooting of Sean M. Rogers by his 36-year-old roommate, Mark Gregory Jolloff on CR 3793 in north Liberty County.
According to Sheriff’s lead Investigator Josh Cummins, it is alleged that a dispute developed between the two men over a vehicle and at some point, Jolloff shot Rogers in the upper chest area with a sawed off 410 shotgun loaded with bird shot.
Sean Rogers was transported to Conroe Regional Hospital in critical condition. Jolloff was arrested at the scene and placed in the Liberty County jail charged with a prohibited weapon offense. The investigation is still on-going with other possible charges pending.
