DNA MATCH LEADS CONSTABLES TO BURGLARY OF A HABITATION SUSPECT

On July 12, 2018, Investigators with Constable Mark Herman’s Special Contract Support Unit received a CODIS Match Hit from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Science notifying investigators of a DNA match to evidence collected from a Burglary of a Habitation that occurred in July 2014in the 8200 block of Wooded Terrace Lane. The match identified Keith Sill who was previously arrested for a separate Burglary of a Habitation charge.

It was determined that Keith Sills is currently incarcerated in a Texas Department of Criminal Justice facility near Dallas, Texas as a result of the previous Burglary of a Habitation charge.

“Constable Investigators filed a separate Burglary of a Habitation charge on Keith Sills, and he will be tried in Harris County upon his release from his current prison term.” –Constable Mark Herman
