Monday afternoon just after noon, a 2015 Lexus driven by Edward James Haney, 63, of San Diego, California was westbound on Grogan’s Mill and failed to yield the right of way at the stop sign. Carlos E.. Justiniano, 41, a trauma surgeon, who resided in The Woodlands was turning westbound onto Grogans Mill from Millpark. Justiniano lost control of his 2007 Aprilla T1000 when he tried to avoid hitting the Lexus. The motorcycle slammed into the Lexus.
The Woodlands Fire Department and MCHD responded to the scene but found Justiniano with no signs of life.
He was transported to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for autopsy by Eickenhorst Funeral Directors.
DPS is continuing the investigation.
