With Husband’s Trial Coming Soon…
CONROE, TX- As the nation stood poised to learn its collective fate on Election Day, a South Montgomery County woman accused of being sexual with the family dog awaited a decision regarding her own fate. Joely Janine Keen pleaded “not guilty” in the bizarre bestiality case filed after law enforcement discovered disturbing video depicting her orally stimulating a Great Dane on her husband’s mobile phone. A jury in the 9th District Court of Judge Phil Grant found 54-year-old Joely Keen guilty of Bestiality, and sentenced her to six months incarceration in TDCJ.
While visual depictions of illegal sex acts are often brought to light during investigations by Internet Crimes Against Children, or ICAC, investigators, those illegal sex acts typically involve children and result in charges against the person who was the target of the investigation and search warrant for the phone. Although, investigators allegedly found child pornography on William Keen’s phone they say appeared to be shot in the couple’s home, they also found the December 2023 video that resulted in Joely Keen’s Tuesday conviction and the immediate removal of the Great Dane in the video and two other dogs the couple shared. According to the Complaint, the video showed Joely Keen performing oral stimulation on the Great Dane while William Keen allegedly assisted by holding the dogs logs so that his wife could access the dog’s genitalia, servicing the dog to completion, with what Investigators say was William Keen’s voice giving a running commentary in the background.
Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable Ryan Gable’s Office arrested William Keen, Joely’s husband on March 13 for allegedly exposing his genitalia to an unknown child and masturbating in a South Montgomery County HEB. As a result, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Detectives assigned to Children’s Safe Harbor were investigating William Keen soon after, which led them to seek a warrant for his mobile phone and resulted in charges against both Keens.
William Keen’s trial is set for December 9 in the 9th District Court where a jury convicted his wife. William Keen is charged with third-degree felony Indecency with a Child / Exposes (the HEB incident) and third-degree felony Possession of Child Pornography, less than 100 images.
Editor’s Note: The word “allegedly” appears with William Keen’s information because he hasn’t been convicted.

SMC Couple Charged with Shocking Crimes Against Children, Their Great Dane
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX- On March 13, Pct. 3 Constable Ryan Gable’s Deputies responded to an indecent exposure call at the HEB Grocery Store at 3540 Rayford Road. Witnesses on the scene told Deputies a man inside the store was following young children at a close proximity and masturbating. Deputies identified the suspect as William Mitchell Keen, who was found and arrested for Indecent Exposure. A follow-up investigation was conducted by Constable Gable’s Detectives and some of the young children William Keen was allegedly following inside the store were identified. Additional charges of Indecency with a Child by Exposure were then filed on William Keen. During the course of the investigation, Pct. 3 seized William Keen’s phone as evidence and a search warrant led to the discovery of multiple images of alleged child sexual assault material as well as video content of Keen’s spouse, Joely Keen, allegedly engaging in both oral and vaginal sex with a Great Dane dog the couple owned.
On Wednesday, Constable Gable’s Criminal Investigation Division executed arrest warrants on both William Keen and Joely Keen, as well as a search warrant on their residence in the Harmony Subdivision. William Keen was arrested for additional charges of Possession of Child Pornography, and Joely Keen was arrested for the charge of Bestiality. During the execution of the search warrant, the Montgomery County Pct. 3 Constable’s Office rescued the Great Dane and two more dogs from the residence, saving them from further alleged sexual exploitation.
