The closure of the main lanes of Hwy 59 this weekend will be for the restriping in preparation for construction of the Grand Parkway (Hwy 99).
The northbound main lanes from north of Community Drive to south of FM1314 in Porter will be closed from 8 PM Saturday to 6 AM Sunday.
Traffic will be detoured onto the northbound frontage and allowed to re-enter the main lanes after the closed section.
The southbound main lanes from Roman Forest Blvd. to south of Community Drive will be closed from 8 PM Sunday to 6 AM Monday.
