Just after 9am Sunday Caney Creek Fire responded to a reported major accident involving an vehicle striking a tree on Kidd Road between Stidham Stephen F. Austin. When they arrived the female was inside the vehicle , vehicle running and very little damage. A window was broken out to unlock the doors to remove her. She was not responsive and CPR was started. MCHD transported the female to Conroe Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased. Officials believe it was a medical issue that caused the vehicle to leave the roadway at a very low speed and just clip the trunk of a tree coming to rest just feet from it. There was very minor damage done to the right fender. Additional details available as the investigation continues. An autopsy was ordered.
