DPS INVESTIGATES PORTER FATAL CRASH

Just after 9 pm Wednesday Houston Fire and Houston Police were dispatched to Ford Road at Mills Branch in the back of Kingwood for a motorcycle crash. In addition, Porter Fire and MCHD were also dispatched. HFD arrived on the scene and found a 49-year-old male deceased. Houston Police determined the scene was just outside the city limits but was still in Montgomery County. DPS responded to the scene. According to DPS, a 2008 Ford Focus was southbound on Ford Road in the sharp curve to eastbound Mills Branch driven by 18-year-old Jeremy Lubel of Porter. A 1999 Harley Davidson motorcycle was westbound on Mills Branch and entered the same curve as the Ford Focus and collided. The driver of the motorcycle was identified as Michael McMaster, 49, of Kingwood, was deceased on the scene. The victim was transported to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for autopsy. DPS is continuing the investigation.
